I Miss My Puppy

Lily Munster passed away tonight. She got out of the yard, and got on the highway and got hit. It crushed her head, and Mom keeps assuring me that she died instantly. However, that doesn't make me feel any better. Today is my birthday ... wanna guess what the worst birthday present ever is? Your puppy in a box, buried in your front yard. I'm also about to delete my personal profile on Facebook because well, it's my birthday, and none of my so called "friends" on that profile, people I've met in real life, have said a thing about my birthday, nor have any of the cared to show up, nor have any of them mentioned anything about me losing Lily. I'll be creating a new profile, and if my friends on there actually want to continue being my friends and speaking with me, they can find me there. My Willow profile will stay the same though, so no worries there. Sadly I've gotten more birthday wishes, and apologies from my blogging friends that I've never met in real life, than I have from the people I've known in real life and that call me their friend. Anyway, in memory of Lily, and to keep her video from being deleted, I'm embedding the only video I have of her... her giving me five.

  1. Ohhhh, I'm so sorry about your Lily. I'm sure your mother is right. Pets, like people have the ability to reach us in the afterlife (I've had several pets come to me in very vivid dreams) so you can be sure Lily is still with you. That still doesn't change the fact that you will miss her though...

I totally agree about your facebook.I took my birthdate off that (and most other info) for just those reasons.

Thinking of you on your birthday. I know this one won't be very happy, but may it be the last one that isn't!

  2. Thank you so much for that Aine. The plus is I can always rely on my blogging friends to have something nice to say; whether my local friends do or not.

  3. So sorry to hear about your little puppy dog. Makes me so sad. And to top it off on your birthday?!?!?! Ugh. Well, hopefully all the bad crap of the year was rolled up in all of that. Here's to a year of wonderment, magick, fun and love!!!!

  4. I would say happy birthday, but I know you aren't feeling very happy right now and with good reason. I am very sorry about your puppy. Although like you said it doesn't help, your mom is right. But that doesn't take away the pain of your loss. Sending you lots of hugs.
